Here we are in the season of “pumpkin spice everything.”
Who’s loving it? Who’s ready for Halloween?
As adults, it’s sometimes hard to pull off fun, yet classy, Halloween decor for grown ups.
This dilemma inspired me to create a romantic Halloween dinner
for two full of black, white, orange, copper, and pumpkins.
A few lovely pieces can really add up to a romantic, festive look.

Another dilemma that we tend to run into on Halloween as adults
is keeping our little “pumpkins” safe while we enjoy the evening.
Here are a few tips
for staying safe on Halloween.
1. Use Your Lights to send a Message
Use your lights to show whether you are home and giving out candy or not. As most people know, lights on means you are there and lights off means you are not.
2. Check Before You Open Your Door.
This is good general practice anyways but make sure that you look out a window or peephole before you open your door,
3. Keep a Buddy with You
When you have another person with you, you aren’t as vulnerable. Plus, it.s nice to have someone to keep you company an to refill the candy bowl.
4. Don’t Let Tricker-Treaters In
It’s not rude to keep your conversation at the door, If you keep your candy bowl by the door, it will seem natural.
With these tips in mind, you’ll keep your home and yourself safe, and be able to enjoy a great night of Halloween evening.
