Amber\'s Rolls Recipe
American, Bread, Side, Yummy, Warm, Rolls, White, Favorite, Heavy
Cooks in    Serves 24 Rolls
Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp. Yeast
  • 2 1/4 c. Warm Water
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Butter or Margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 1/4 c. Wheat Gluten
  • 5-6 c. Flour as needed
Directions
  • Combine yeast, water, and sugar in an industrial sized mixer. Allow yeast to foam. Gradually add the remaining ingredients. Beating until smooth in between adding cups of flour.
  • When smooth and no longer sticky, cover with a towel and allow to rest for 15 minutes.
  • Beat down, shape into rolls and place on a greased cookie sheet. You should end up with 24. Spray the tops of the rolls with cooking spray and cover with saran wrap. Allow to rise until doubled {about an hour}.
  • Remove the saran wrap and bake at 375* for 20 minutes or until a golden brown on top. Remove from the oven and butter the tops. Enjoy!

 

Cranberry Orange Sauce

Cranberry Orange Sauce Recipe
American, Side, Thanksgiving, Sauce, Orange, Cranberries
Cooks in    Serves 2 1/2 Cups
Ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh cranberries, washed and dried
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
Directions
  • In a medium pot, combine the cranberries, sugar and water. Stir to blend. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce to a simmer and add the cinnamon stick, allspice and nutmeg. Stir to blend and simmer for an additional 5 to 7 minutes. Some of the cranberries will burst and some will remain whole. Add the orange juice and zest, stir and allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
