My best {& lifelong} friend Katrina & I have a VERY MOST FAVORITE sandwich…we eat it all the time.

Especially for special occasions.

It is very much like a Caprese salad but it includes wonderful,

yummy french bread as well.

The Sandwich is fresh and flavorful.

If you eat it on your patio while the sun is setting and a cool breeze is blowing,

it is easy to imagine that you are in Tuscany on a vineyard feeling completely content with life.

Here is the yummy recipe.

I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!

Caprese Sandwiches
Write a review
  1. 1 french bread loaf

  1. Slice the french bread in half so there is a top and a bottom.
  2. Drizzle the inside of the bread with the oil and vinegar.
  3. Slice the tomatoes and cheese.
  4. Cover the bottom of the sandwich with the basil, then the cheese, then the tomatoes.
  5. Salt and pepper the sandwich.
