Cookies & Milk & Christmas Lights/ Snippets of Design

Since I have not posted as much as normal this week I have decided to bring you a fun idea rather than a Friday round up.

Cookies & Milk & Christmas Lights/ Snippets of Design

Every Year, my little family has a fun tradition {like many} of going to look at Christmas lights.

A little town south of us has a fun light display that we like to drive through…

We have always gotten treats or snacks to munch on and a drink to enjoy during the ride.

Last year, instead of purchasing them,I started baking cookies and bringing  everyone their own personal bottle of milk.

I usually decorate them just to make it a little more fun…

This is how I decorated them this year.  With green & whites.

Last year, before I started Snippets & before I had a really good camera,

I decorated them like this:

& I decorated the cookies like this:

Okay, here’s the breakdown…

I used ribbons I bought at Hobbie Lobby, and sauce bottles from Specialty Bottle.

I have also included some blank scalloped circle tags that you can download and add your own Monograms to.

This year I made  gingersnaps

I usually make my favorite chocolate chunk cookies but I can share those anytime & gingersnaps seem ummm, “more wintery”.

I acquired this recipe in college from my roommate.

It comes out moist and yummy every time!

Trust me…I thought I HATED gingersnaps but these are so yummy, EVERYONE gets addicted…you should give them a try…;)

Here is the recipe:
