If you have followed me for a while,

“ummmm, of course I HAD to do a tablescape for Valentine’s Day!!!”  ;) :)

I wanted it to be simple, casual, & romantic

I mixed them with some favorite dishes & some casual, plaid dish towels I LOVE from Target.

Ingredients
  1. Crust
  2. 2 cups Chocolate cookie crumbs
  3. 2 Tbls Butter
  4. Cheesecake
  5. 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  6. 3 eggs
  7. 3/4 cup sugar
  8. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  9. 1/2 cup whipping cream
  10. 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  11. Glaze
  12. 1 12 oz. Pkg. of Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  13. 1 Tbsp Shortening
Instructions
  1. Heat the oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Soften the butter.
  3. In a medium size bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and softened butter.
  4. Press in the bottom of an ungreased 10" springform cake pan. Set aside.
  5. In a large bowl beat the cream cheese on medium until smooth.
  6. Add on egg at a time and beat well.
  7. Add the sugar and vanilla. Beat well.
  8. Add the whipping cream and blend well.
  9. Spoon 3 1/2 c. pie filling onto the prepared crust. Spread evenly.
  10. Spoon the pie filling over the cream cheese mixture.
  11. Spoon the remaining cream cheese mixture over the pie filling.
  12. Bake i hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes or until the center is set. Cool on a wire rack for 1 hour.
  13. In a medium size microwavable bowl, combine the chocolate chips and shortening.
  14. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Continue melting and stirring for 30 seconds at a time until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  15. Remove the form from around the cake and place it on some parchment paper.
  16. Pour the chocolate over the top, allowing it to drip over the sides.
  17. After it cools, remove it from the parchment paper and place it on a cake plate.
  18. Enjoy!
