Every year, one of our traditions is to visit a local drive-through light show. I make milk and cookies for us to enjoy during the ride and cute printable tags or labels for you guys. This year’s theme is “Merry Christmas Deer” so I created deer head, buffalo check, straw flags and gingerbread deer head cookies using Foodstirs® Organic Very Merry Gingerbread Mix™.
They were so yummy! The cookies are firm enough to hold their shape on the outside yet they are soft and tasty on the inside. We are new fans. This is great because the busier I get, the more I find myself looking for easier ways to keep doing the things I’ve always done without sacrificing quality.
Foodstirs® is a great option for this. Everything they offer is organic and tastes like homemade so it is quick and easy to create the baked goods that my family loves.
To create the deer heads, use one of the deer head cutouts I provided in the in the download below. You can cut this out with scissors or with a Cricut®Explore Air 2 Machine™.
Cut it out of the gingerbread using a knife or you can buy a similar deer head cookie cutter here.
I also made some house ornaments for my tree…

Use a straw to put a hole in the ornaments before you bake them.
I love the look of gingerbread ornaments on trees.
Decorate the cookies with decorator frosting. Use string or ribbon to hang them on the tree.
You can find the ribbon I used here.
