I had the privilege of teeming up with Shutterfly© again to design some fun summer decorating projects for you to create.
One thing I enjoy more frequently in the summer is reading. I have a reading nook in the corner of my bedroom but I hadn’t decorated the wall next to it yet. I thought it would be fun to create some boho style art to decorate it with and I thought you might enjoy it as well. The pictures look like this and can be easily created on Shutterfly products.
I also needed another jewelry tray. I always need more jewelry holders, apparently, I’m attracted to shiny, pretty things. lol.
The graphic in the middle says “live fully.”
In keeping with the boho theme. I created these water-color style feather prints.
It turns out they look great printed on water color card stock and placed on the 3/4″ shelf in my bathroom we just redecorated in this post.
During the summer, my kids are always searching for snacks. I created this warm weather treat tin so that they could easily find them. The tin was meant for dog food storage but I love the way the white and black looks on my kitchen counter. It says.
“WARM WEATHER TREATS it’s okay, calories don’t count in the summer.”
As you know, I LOVE a good table setting so of course I wanted to create some fun summer tableware.
I decided to go with an orange, pink, and green color scheme that felt fun and light.
And pretty, feminine prints that could be used during summer and spring.
I also created boho-style menus that you can print to match the table settings.
and bud vases that are actually shot glasses.
they have a soft feather print on them. They look like this:
They turned out subtle and pretty in person.
Summer decorating crosses that fine line between indoor and outdoor living
and wouldn’t feel complete without mentioning the beach.
This beach bag tag is actually a wooden ornament. It says “barefoot & carefree THE BEACH IS WHERE I WANT TO BE.”
The pillow says “Dear Beach I THINK ABOUT YOU ALL THE TIME.”
Summer is also means picnics, fire pits, and BBQ’s.
This farmhouse style blanket and these relax plates will help to make your picnic a cozy treat.
These faux wooden tags (created from metal dog tags) will help to make your fire pit and s’mores bar feel a little fancy without much effort at all.
As a fun DIY project that doubles great as a Father’s Day gift, this BBQ station is easy to create.
You can purchase most of what you need from IKEA for a great price
and you can easily create the tea towels, aprons, napkins, signs and tags using Shutterfly, your printer, and/or a craft cutting machine.
You can check out the article I wrote for Shutterfly here. It contains better explanations downloads for the other projects in this post.
You can also check out my new author profile page on Shutterfly here. My future collaborations with Shutterfly will show up there as well.
I hope you all have an amazing Mother’s Day sweet friends!
